Penny Arcade -- an online comic that is probably only funny if you're into video games. Otherwise, you probably won't get it.
Recent Earthquakes in Alaska -- run by the Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, this site offers (nearly) real-time information on seismic disturbances across the state. You can also find links to similar sites for other seismic regions, and other geology sites as well.
Airliners.net -- great photo site for aviation buffs. Gazillions of pictures of all sorts of aircraft, from all angles.
Jetphotos.net -- very similar to Airliners.net -- oodles of aircraft photos.
LiveATC.net -- ever want to hear the conversations between pilots and air traffic controllers? Now you can. Many US facilites (and a few international) are available for your listening pleasure.
All Music Guide -- huge database of musicians, albums, song, and groups. If you have a favorite band that you want to know more about, or find similar groups, just punch their name into the search bar. I could spend hours surfing here.
