The European Space Agency will be crashing a probe into the surface of the moon on Saturday (Sep. 2) morning, about 9:41 am AK time. The crash is the finale to a (successful) mission to survey the moon. I guess littering the surface of the moon is better than leaving the trash from the mission in orbit.
